Mr. Kellie Strøm: A Bit of Biography
With the help of an Irish mother, Dor Walsh, and a Danish father, Holger Strøm, I was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, in 1967. Along with my brother Enda, I grew up in Ireland, and now I live and work in London with Susanna and our two children, Bo and Peggy.
Starting at age fourteen I did drawings for various newspapers and magazines in Galway, Dublin, London and Copenhagen.
For a long time newspaper work was my main business, but now most of my efforts are in children's books, comics and film.
I haven't yet succeeded in becoming an animator, or a gallery artist, or a professional type designer, but give me time, just a bit more time--
